June 16-20 was boot camp. I met my squad for the first time and what precious people they are! Everyone was incredibly open to welcome, love, and learn about one another. The leaders put so much effort and did such a good job at giving us a little taste of what it will be like overseas. I've been taking these past few weeks to think over and contemplate everything I learned. As September comes closer, It's becoming more of a reality that I won't know the comfort of home for nine months. Although I'm sad about that, I look forward to the relationships that will be created over the time that I'll be away I'm exited to study the bible with new people and listen to their perspective on it.
