Being a follower of Jesus requires action. 

I was wondering what was next for me, whether that was continuing on to college or working. I heard about this trip and as I looked in to it, it seemed that God had opened the right doors for me to go. 

(Mark 16:15-  18) When Jesus had risen from the dead and appeared to the eleven disciples, he said to them, "Go in to all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned." 

Millions of people in these countries have no idea who God is and my goal is to spread the gospel to those places. 

As Christians, I am a representative of God. When I go out into the world, I represent God and so not only is it a privilege and honor to talk about the Lord, but an obligation.  feeding the poor, helping your neighbor, loving your brother, all of these are mentioned time after time in the Bible, and the reason for that is to help others see God through you and your actions.
